What is Reconfigure?

Reconfigure is life drawing for all abilities. Reconfigure is a community of creativity. 
Founded in 2016 by life model and artist Topaz Pauls, and born out of a need for both community and creative autonomy.

The emphasis is on a sense of presence. Reconfigure is a space for all of you to slow down and be attuned to yourselves. A space to practice giving attention to the moment through drawing. A space where you can feel looked after, tend to your need for expression, and bravely welcome the plethora of feelings that making space for creativity brings up.

There are always materials available, so you can show up with nothing but your eager eyes and your willing hands. There is always a fresh playlist on to guide the flow of the session and to help you turn down the volume on your busy brains. And there’s always a cafe or a bar nearby so you can find courage and comfort, be it through a wine or a cup of tea!

We regularly collaborate with The Pianodrome, and put drawing on at Kelburn Festival every July. Do get in touch if you have a project or event in mind.

We spent March 2020-July 2021 online and I am forever grateful for the global support I found that helped keep Reconfigure in business. If you are one of those online attendees or models, the door is always open for you to say hi in person one day.
